Chloe Chappe is a chef and writer based in Los Angeles, California. Her cooking and food writing pursuits are motivated by personal traditions, cultural culinary history, accessibility, the aesthetics of a colorful meal, and the love of gathering people.

Her writing has been featured in The LA Review of Books, LA Weekly, and Counter Service Magazine. She has collaborated on recipes with brands such as Sheldon Ceramics, Sunny Fine Foods and has published two zines of her own recipes. 

Chloe has cooked in the kitchens of Gaskins and Michael’s, art studio kitchens, private home kitchens, the kitchen of a French inn, and of course, in her own kitchen. She now works as a private chef and can be booked for small event catering as well as regular meal deliveries.
