For my undergraduate thesis at Bard, I wrote about autobiography and memory in The Alice B. Toklas Cookbook. I concluded by hosting a banquet of Alice's best recipes.
Included
were French and California wines, I read from my thesis, Alice’s quotes
surrounded us as a shrine, and séance summoning her was led by my roommate.
